More Than a Production

Sing-Out is a nonprofit organization built around the belief that young people can make a meaningful difference in their community. Through our annual production, Sing-Out creates a platform for students grades 8-12 to participate in community service in a way that is engaging, rewarding, and impactful.

Behind the production is a dedicated team of volunteers, including individuals with backgrounds in the entertainment industry, who contribute their time and expertise to bring each show to life. Together, they create an experience that combines professional guidance, student involvement, and a shared commitment to giving back truly living up to Sing-Out's two mottos: 

"Kids helping kids"  & "Its gotta be fun!"

The Sing-Out Company, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. 

Our mission is to provide talented students grades 8-12 with a meaningful opportunity to serve their community through the performing arts.

Sing-Out encourages students to use their individual talents, creativity, and abilities for a greater purpose. Our organization is committed to supporting charitable causes that directly benefit children, while helping students understand the value of community  service, generosity, and civic involvement.

Paying it Forward

Giving back is built into the way Sing-Out operates. 100% of the proceeds from each production are donated to charitable organizations supporting children.

Over our 35+ year run, Sing-Out has supported a variety of organizations dedicated to improving the lives of children and families throughout the Rochester area and beyond.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Sing-Out relies on the generosity of community members, sponsors, and supporters to continue its work. Donations to Sing-Out are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
