At Sing-Out, we say “It’s Gotta Be Fun!” And through our show, a musical extravaganza that mixes comedic charm with song and dance, we deliver on that motto. Featuring dozens of high school students from across Monroe County, the two-act show is family-friendly and full of energy.
Originally, Sing-Out was a musical revue that ran for six years in the 60s and 70s. It was revived by Lisa Romach in 1989, and has run continuously since, bringing a talented group of volunteers and cast members together to create a fabulous production year after year.
Sing-Out provides high school students with the opportunity to use their gifts of time and talent to raise money for children’s charities in our community. We have donated nearly $100,000 in our 30 year history, living up to our motto of “kids helping kids.”
